Classic Margarita

- 2 ounces Blanco tequila
- 1 ounce Cointreau
- 1 ounce freshly squeezed lime juice
- Kosher salt for rim of glass
- Lime wheel, for garnish
Fill a cocktail shaker ½ full with ice. Pour in tequila, Cointreau, and lime juice. Cover and shake until the cocktail is chilled and well blended.
Rub a lime wedge around the rim of a glass. Pour coarse salt into a medium plate and shake gently to distribute the salt around the plate. Dip the rim of the glass into the salt.
Strain the cocktail into the glass, garnish with a lime wheel, and serve.
Yield: 1 cocktail
