Blackberry Mojito
| Christy Rost- 5 mint leaves
- 2 teaspoons granulated sugar
- 3 large fresh blackberries
- 3 ounces white rum
- 1/2 ounce crème de mure
- 1 teaspoon confectioners sugar
- ice cubes
- 3 to 4 ounces club soda, chilled
- Fresh mint, for garnish
In a cocktail shaker, crush the mint leaves and sugar together with the back of a spoon, add the blackberries, and crush. Add rum, crème de mure, confectioners sugar, and ice, cover, and shake until the mixture is chilled. Strain the mixture into a tall glass filled with ice, fill the glass with club soda, and stir gently.
Yield: 1 cocktail
